Contrast Sensitivity Results

You can read down to Row 0 (0% contrast).

Contrast sensitivity is different from visual acuity (which measures how small of details you can see). Contrast sensitivity measures how well you can distinguish an object from its background when they're similar in brightness.

Good contrast sensitivity is particularly important for:

  • Driving at night or in fog
  • Reading low-contrast text
  • Recognizing faces
  • Navigating in low-light conditions
